Debbie Hearty is a seasoned education and talent development leader with extensive experience in public education, local government, and organizational leadership. As the President and Founder of Hearty Consulting Group, she partners with government agencies, school districts, and non-profits to design and implement customized talent solutions.
Debbie’s career began as a high school math teacher and evolved into chief-level leadership roles, including Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and senior leader in organizational leadership and equity. She specializes in talent strategy, diversity, equity & inclusion (DEI), adult learning, math teaching and learning, and leadership development. She has a proven track record of navigating complex systems, developing leaders, and building high-performing teams.
Her work has spanned across the United States and Asia, and she has taught undergraduate and graduate courses at the University of Colorado, Boulder, and Metropolitan State University. Debbie holds a Master’s degree from Stanford University and is a sought-after speaker on leadership, team effectiveness, DEI, and talent management.
