Cheri Wrench is a bilingual education consultant with over 20 years of experience in K–12 education and more than 6 years in consulting. With deep expertise in school leadership and school turnaround, she has served as a teacher, assistant principal, principal, central office leader, the Executive Director of the Colorado Association of School Boards, and an education consultant. Cheri is known for her strategic leadership, collaborative approach, and ability to facilitate complex, system-level initiatives that drive measurable impact.
Certified in Prosci change management and holder of a Distinguished Principal Certificate from the Relay Graduate School of Education, Cheri brings both depth and adaptability to her work. She leads and authors school quality reviews nationwide through her consulting with SchoolWorks and she supports districts and organizations with strategic planning, facilitation, and leadership coaching and development with Spark & Compass Consulting. Cheri holds dual undergraduate degrees in Elementary Education and Spanish from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, as well as an international MBA and principal licensure from the University of Denver.
Raised in Colorado’s public education system across both urban and rural communities, Cheri remains deeply committed to equity, access, and transformational learning experiences for all students.
